FULL-TIME BARTENDER (ONBOARD ROYAL ALBATROSS)

Job Summary

The Full-Time Bartender is responsible for delivering a consistently high standard of beverage service onboard the Royal Albatross. This role requires professionalism, efficiency, and strong product knowledge to ensure a premium guest experience while maintaining strict operational, safety, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Beverage Preparation & Service
  • Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and service standards
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
  • Recommend cocktails, wines, and spirits based on guest preferences
  • Maintain speed and accuracy during peak service periods
  1. Guest Engagement & Experience
  • Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service at all times
  • Proactively engage guests to enhance their onboard experience
  • Handle guest feedback or complaints with professionalism and urgency
  • Uphold the brand image of a luxury hospitality experience
  1. Bar Operations & Maintenance
  • Set up and close the bar according to operational procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar area
  • Ensure all glassware, tools, and equipment are properly handled and maintained
  • Follow opening, closing, and daily checklists strictly
  1. Inventory & Cost Control
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages promptly
  • Assist in stock-taking and inventory audits
  • Minimize wastage, breakage, and spillage
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of all beverage items
  1. Safety & Compliance
  • Adhere strictly to all onboard safety procedures and maritime regulations
  • Ensure responsible service of alcohol (no over-serving)
  • Comply with hygiene and sanitation standards at all times
  • Be familiar with emergency procedures and assist when required
  1. Teamwork & Operational Support
  • Work closely with service crew, kitchen, and operations team
  • Support overall cruise operations, including events and private charters
  • Assist in boarding, guest flow management, and other duties when required
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience (hospitality, events, or cruise preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and bar equipment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically fit; able to stand for long hours
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bartending or mixology certification
  • Food Hygiene / Food Safety certification
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or onboard service

Work Schedule

  • Full-time role with rotating shifts

DISHWASHER CUM KITCHEN HELPER

The Royal Albatross • Fulltime

About the Role:

  1. Dishwashing & Cleaning

Wash, rinse and sanitize all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils

Operate dishwashing machines (if applicable) according to safety guidelines

Ensure proper segregation of clean and dirty items

Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area at all times

Ensure proper storage of cleaned equipment

  1. Kitchen Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean kitchen floors, walls, tables, food preparation areas, and equipment

Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste according to hygiene regulations

Ensure grease traps and sinks are cleaned regularly

Refill soap, sanitizers, and cleaning supplies as needed

Maintain overall kitchen hygiene standards in compliance with food safety requirements

  1. Kitchen Assistance

Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting vegetables, etc.)

Help in receiving and storing deliveries

Arrange and organize stock in chiller/freezer/store room

Support kitchen staff during peak hours

Carry heavy items such as rice bags, cartons, and kitchen supplies

  1. Compliance & Safety

Follow workplace safety and hygiene standards

Wear proper uniform and protective equipment

Report any equipment malfunction or safety hazards to supervisor

Comply with company policies and kitchen SOPs

ENGINE DRIVER

Albatross Speedboat Adventures • Fulltime

About the Role
Tall Ship Adventures are seeking a reliable and skilled Engine Driver to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our speedboats within port limits. This role is essential in maintaining safety, efficiency, and readiness of the boat engines, while also supporting overall vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

– Operate, monitor, and maintain marine diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and reliability

– Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of onboard machinery

– Monitor fuel consumption and engine parameters, and report any abnormalities promptly

– Ensure full compliance with Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) regulations and company safety standards

– Support vessel operations, including berthing, refuelling, and operational readiness

– Maintain accurate engine logs, maintenance records, and technical documentation

– Collaborate closely with Captains and the technical team to minimise downtime and ensure operational continuity

Requirements

– Valid MPA Port Limit Engine Driver Class 3 Licence

– Proven hands-on experience with marine diesel engines and associated systems

– Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities

– Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and operationally demanding environment

RESERVATIONS EXECUTIVE

The Royal Albatross • Fulltime

 We are looking for people who are confident and internationally minded; people who know what it takes to exceed guest expectations.

You will effectively and efficiently manage the Reservations Department, ensuring all inquiries are professionally dealt with, through prompt, effective, and proper reservations service to achieve maximum revenue by proactively converting sales inquiries in order to meet or exceed the revenue target.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Handling the phone and email inquiries and being the face and voice of our guests.

Maintain cordial relations with commercial clients.

Creative in planning proposals, birthdays, and anniversary surprises.

Follows up on tentative bookings and updates reservation status.

Reviews no-shows, cancelled reservations, and processes charges according to company policy.

Handling the customer registration before boarding the ship.

The successful applicant for this role must be committed to delivering excellent customer service and have a positive ‘can-do ‘ attitude.

You will need to work during public holidays and weekends as our ship is chartered and sailing during these days.

Able to speak Mandarin to liaise and connect with our customers from China.

3RD CLASS ENGINE DRIVER

Tall Ship Adventures Pte Ltd is the owner operators of Luxury Tall Ship Royal Albatross. Since 2015, we have been providing short unforgettable sail dining experiences within Singapore port. Berthed at Resorts World Sentosa, our mission is to offer locals and tourists unique cruise experiences.

Wanted – Helmsman and Engine Driver – We are seeking Helmsmen and Engine Drivers with valid MPA Port licenses to operate our new Catamaran sightseeing attraction at Resorts World Sentosa. Enjoy competitive salary, benefits, and the chance to be a part of a growing company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Operate, maintain and service the engines and associated equipment.
    • Comply with the MPA’s (Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore) statutory regulations at all times.
    • Ensure updated records on engines and equipment onboard. Undertake basic maintenance of equipment onboard.
    • Attend to breakdowns and to provide prompt accurate feedback on repairs required
    • Ensure sufficient spares, tools and equipment are at hand for minor repairs
    • Daily records of fuel consumption
    • Assist in ferrying tourist from RWS/ Tourist spot for harbour cruise around nearby Island with predetermined route.
    • Work closely with management, to ensure equipment onboard are working in proper and uphold safety standards.
    • During working hours, you will be based in Sentosa and return to the Singapore mainland every day after work.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance and company procedures and are followed
    • Understand and ensure compliance with company’s (safety) guidelines and procedures.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Conduct vessel inspections, diagnose engine issues, and troubleshoot minor mechanical/electrical problems efficiently.
    • Assist to ensure Craft are safely berth or onboarding passenger and disembark.
    • Assist in ensuring efficiency and success of operations of the craft within schedule
    • Assist in berthing and make sure that Boat is properly secure.
    • Ensure passenger are boarding/ disembark the craft safely and in proper manner
    • General housekeeping and upkeep the condition of the boat
    • To inform management of any problems arising during daily operations
