Tall Ship Adventures Pte Ltd is the owner operators of Luxury Tall Ship Royal Albatross. Since 2015, we have been providing short unforgettable sail dining experiences within Singapore port. Berthed at Resorts World Sentosa, our mission is to offer locals and tourists unique cruise experiences.

Wanted – Helmsman and Engine Driver – We are seeking Helmsmen and Engine Drivers with valid MPA Port licenses to operate our new Catamaran sightseeing attraction at Resorts World Sentosa. Enjoy competitive salary, benefits, and the chance to be a part of a growing company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Boat navigation and overall in charge of vessel
  • Maintain and upkeep the condition of the vessel under your charge
  • Responsible for ferrying tourist from RWS/ Tourist spot for harbour cruise around nearby Island with predetermined route
  • Maintain government-issued certifications as required
  • Communicate professionally and effectively through various channels, including, email, radio and phone.
  • Proficient in Handling of passenger craft
  • Any other responsibilities as instructed by the Management
  • During working hours, you will be based in Sentosa and return to the Singapore mainland every day after work.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure Craft are safely berth or onboarding passenger and disembark.
  • Safe navigation and manoeuvring of vessels within waterways and ports.
  • Overall efficiency and success of operations of the craft within schedule
  • Make sure that Boat is berth and properly secure.
  • Ensure passenger are boarding/ disembark the craft safely and in proper manner
  • Ensure crew are providing the necessary assistance in ship manning.
  • General housekeeping and upkeep the condition of the boat
  • To inform management of any problems arising during daily operations

Position open to Singaporeans only
MPA Helmsman (Port Limit) / MPA SP license or equivalent
Team player with a positive attitude.
Be familiar with Singapore’s territorial waters and verifies the accuracy of courses using navigational aids.
